Your data lives in two places: on your own computer, and on the assistant's home server (hosted by Cloudflare, Inc.). The home server keeps your most recent conversations — up to about 3,000 messages per device.
The home server exists to run the assistant: it provides Jarvis's memory, delivers updates, and lets the service be operated and maintained (including periodic check-ins from your computer, about every 30 seconds). Conversation text is what makes the assistant remember you — that is its core feature.
Jarvis works with text only. We do not take screenshots, view your screen, read your files, or collect contacts, location, or anything else about you. The owner's dashboard shows conversation history only — never your screen.
